Grab your bow, pack your camping gear and come join the Shire of Windkeep for a weekend of and about archery, in the beautiful mountains of the Northern Outlands. Never shot archery before? It’s fun, easy and we will have teachers and equipment on hand to help you learn. Archery games are planned such as a Wand Shoot, Clout Shoot and many others courtesy of the mind of THL Forester. For the Combat Archers a Meanest Mother Woods Battle is planned. Archery Marshals, we need your help. If you would like to help, or if you have suggestions, please contact the Steward.
This is a primitive site and camping is first come first serve. A map of the camping area will be available at gate. There is limited level ground for RVs. Contact the Event Steward for information. We will have porta-potties (there are a few composting toilets as well). There will be no potable water on site so please remember to bring your own. Please plan to leave the site cleaner than we find it. The only fires allowed on site must have an off switch and fire extinguisher available. Smoking is only allowed in a designated area and the site is damp for use of alcohol. Cannabis is illegal in Wyoming in all forms. Well behaved service animals/pets are welcome. They must be leashed and under your immediate control at all times. (There are deer and other animals on site) Please make sure they have food, water, and shade. Please pick up after your animal and dispose of their fertilizer. If your animal is afraid of crowds or strangers it might be kinder to leave them at home.

From the South.
Find your best route to I25 north.
Drive to Wyoming
Exit 8B onto I80 West toward Laramie. Drive approximately 24 miles.
**Exit 335 North Buford Road (where the Buford gas station is).
Take a right at the exit and then an immediate other right.
Next take a left to stay on North Buford Road (This is a winding unpaved road).
Proceed on North Buford Road approximately 4.5 miles to site.
Entrance is on the left.
